Air bag thefts from parked Hondas continue to be a problem in recent months in Chicago, including 10 such incidents during a recent four-day stretch in the 16th (Jefferson Park) Police District.
The district is encouraging residents to use an anti-theft device, commonly referred to as the “club,” to hep deter car break-ins. The locking device lays over the steering wheel, covering the area that holds the driver’s side air bag.
