Cook County officials are warning residents that a scam court notice that falsely claims to be related to a parking violation could show up in their mailbox.
Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County Mariyana Spyropoulos announced Friday that a scam being sent both by text and by the U.S. Postal Service is designed to look like a court notice that states “IMMEDIATE ACTION IS REQUIRED.”
