Driver allegedly caused chain-reaction crash, injuring 14, before committing suicide

OAK PARK, Ill. (WBBM/CNN Newsource/WKRC) – A driver allegedly committed suicide after running a red light and causing a chain-reaction crash that injured more than a dozen people.

Authorities said the driver ran through a red light in the suburbs of Chicago on the morning of April 3. The driver reportedly swerved to avoid hitting a pedestrian and crashed into multiple vehicles, including a bus.
