Lunchtime in a parking lot outside the Corps of Engineers building, Brian Farrell stands behind a compact hot dog cart, calling out orders for an Arsenal Dog and a Chicago Dog.
It’s a long way from the South Side suburbs of Chicago, where Farrell grew up eating hot dogs loaded “with everything,” to serving them in the shadows of Saturn V rockets to defense contractors. But for Farrell, the journey from customer to proprietor happened the way many Huntsville stories do, with a leap of faith and a nod to space history.
