(NewsNation) — A decade after an Illinois teenager disappeared from her home, police say they may have a new lead in the case.
Ground-penetrating radar detected an anomaly beneath the surface of a property in South Elgin that could be connected to the disappearance of 17-year-old Kianna Galvin, who vanished more than 10 years ago.
Galvin was last seen leaving her home on May 6, 2016. Her missing person’s report said she told someone she was heading to a public park to meet another person. She has not been heard from since.
