SKOKIE, Ill. (WGN) — Two people remain at large after police in Skokie responded to a burglary-in-progress early Thursday morning.
According to police, at around 3:30 a.m., May 7, Skokie officers responded to a glass-break burglar alarm at a business located in the 3500 block of Dempster St.
Arriving officers witnessed several people at the scene, placing stolen items into a vehicle. The vehicle then fled westbound, striking a Skokie police squad car, authorities said. The group then exited the vehicle and attempted their escape…
