COLUMBUS, Ohio — One of the nation’s largest distributors of wine and spirits announced it’s closing three facilities in Ohio, resulting in the loss of more than 50 jobs.
Republic National Distributing Co., which is based in Dallas, Texas, submitted a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) on Tuesday with the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services.
A Cincinnati office with nine workers, a remote-employee facility in Cincinnati with 44 workers, and a Columbus facility with three workers will close, the notice said. Employees will be let go by no later than July 31. The layoffs are permanent…
