CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A Cincinnati man known for years of community service was honored with a street naming at the corner of 13th Street and Reading Road.
Marvin Butts was recognized for his leadership and efforts to help others, including the work of the His Butts Foundation. Local leaders, family members, and others gathered to talk about the foundation’s work providing Thanksgiving meals for families, Christmas presents for children, and support for cancer survivors.
Butts said his service was inspired by his mother, who died when he was 16.
“I come to work every day, so I’ll see it. So, one day I’ll probably roll in and go, ‘Damn, there’s a street named after me.’ But right now, I’m just overwhelmed,” Butts said…
