Covington residents can now use an online portal to request one free voucher a month to drop off materials at the Covington Transfer Station on Boron Drive. Redeeming a voucher allows residents to drop off waste materials not allowed in normal waste pick up.
Eligible materials include:
- Bulk household items
- Furniture and mattresses
- Excessive household trash bags
- Home renovation debris
- Yard waste
- Scrap metal
- Up to four tires per voucher
Batteries, fluids, anything containing FREON, hazardous materials, anything flammable, rocks and dirt will not be accepted. Trailers used to transport items cannot exceed eight feet in length…
