Tri-State city breaks ground on $70M riverfront project with 269 apartments, retail space

COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) – Construction is underway on the first mixed-use development at Covington’s 23-acre Central Riverfront site, marking a major milestone in the city’s long-term riverfront redevelopment.

Riverstone Place, a six-story development, will include 269 market-rate apartments, 8,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 133 structured parking spaces. Additional parking will be available in the nearby Kenton County parking garage.
