COVINGTON, Ky. (WXIX) – The man charged with shooting and critically hurting a security guard outside a Covington bar is scheduled to go to court Monday.
This will be the first court appearance for Franklin Smith, 44, since he was extradited from Hamilton County last week.
Smith is held on a $500,0000 bond at the Kenton County Jail with charges of “assault, 1st degree” and “convicted felon in possession of a handgun.”
