Storms Chances Increase Starting Thursday

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Unsettled weather is back for the next several days with a string of First Alert Weather Days. Scattered showers and storms are possible by early afternoon Thursday, however they will not be all that widespread. Expect plenty of steamy sunshine as well and highs in the upper 80s, feeling more like the mid 90s. Many will stay dry.

Showers and storm chances increase for Friday and are likely earlier in the day. Overall storm coverage will be a bit more widespread, and there is a possibility of stronger and potentially even severe storms late afternoon and evening Friday. Damaging wind gusts are the biggest threat.

Storm chances will continue for Saturday, but should be more scattered. It will not be a complete washout. Sunday will be the drier, and as a result, hotter, of the two weekend days. Once the drier air arrives, temperatures Sunday and Monday will heat up back near 90 degrees with feels like temps near the triple digits…
