We are entering day three of the latest heatwave and it’s going to be hot this afternoon. Temperatures are expected to rise even more as humidity rises as well.
The National Weather Service has issued a HEAT ADVISORY for the Tri-State starting Tuesday afternoon and it will continue through Thursday evening. In this timeframe, heat index values of 100 to 104 degrees are expected in the afternoon hours.
There isn’t any rain in the forecast for the next three days either. Temperatures will start in the mid to low 70s each morning and warm to 95-96 degrees in the afternoon.
