Cleveland, OH – Ohio residents preparing for the 2026-27 winter season could experience warmer-than-normal temperatures across much of the state, including Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati and Toledo. However, significant snowfall, icy roads and periods of dangerous cold remain possible despite the warmer seasonal outlook.
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), its seasonal outlook issued Thursday, October 15, favors above-normal temperatures across Ohio from November 2026 through January 2027. The warming signal extends across the Great Lakes and much of the northern United States.
