COVINGTON, Ky. (WXIX) – Body camera video shows a SWAT team arresting a Kenton County man during a standoff in Feb. 2023. James Simpson, 49, was found guilty Friday of burglary, kidnapping, assault, strangulation and tampering with a witness. He was also found guilty of being a persistent felony offender.
