Jungle Jim’s tops Kroger on list of best retailers in America, per USA TODAY

Two Cincinnati-based grocery stores are among the best retailers in the country, according to a new list.

USA TODAY recently released a ranking of America’s Top Retailers, and Jungle Jim’s International Market, which has sprawling locations in Fairfield and Eastgate, made the cut with a 4.5/5 rating. Kroger was also listed, receiving a 4/5 rating.

The report is a partnership between data analytics firm Plant-A and USA TODAY. To determine its findings, Plant-A interviewed approximately 45,000 consumers and collected over 293,000 retailer reviews to create “one of America’s largest independent retail experience studies.”

Each retailer was evaluated across seven categories: product offering, price-value ratio, customer service, atmosphere, accessibility and location, orientation, product display and loyalty programs. The study surveyed 25 retail segments, ranging from beauty and health to household goods, general retail, sports, athleisure and entertainment.
