Meghan Trainor posts tribute to Cincinnati: ‘Tried so hard not to cry’

Meghan Trainor appears to have enjoyed her time in the Queen City.

Trainor performed at Riverbend Music Center on Wednesday as part of her Timeless Tour. Following her stop in Cincinnati, the pop star posted a tribute to the city Thursday.

“8,600 people in CINCINNATI, OHIO!!!! I WAS HAVING WAY TO MUCH FUN AND WAS GOING CRAZY! Y’all gave me the best energy and I felt so much love last night. I got full body chills multiple times and tried so hard not to cry so I could sing. THANK YOU ALL,” she wrote in a caption of an Instagram Reel featuring various clips from her visit.

The video consisted of shots of Trainor preparing for the concert, the show itself and the many fans who went to see the “All About That Bass” singer. She also posted a clip featuring the Aug. 23 Enquirer newspaper, which prominently displayed a story previewing her visit to Cincinnati .

“I’m nervous for sure, but I’m really excited, too. I miss singing for my audience,” Trainor previosuly told The Enquirer, speaking on touring for the first time in over seven years.
