Ohio Valley Braces for Showers and Thunderstorms, Cooler Weekend on the Horizon

The National Weather Service has forecast an uptick in showers and thunderstorms across Columbus, Cincinnati, and surrounding areas as a cold front progresses southeast across the Ohio Valley today. The front is expected to stir up some locally strong wind gusts, especially in storms capable of bowing, potentially reaching the 800 to 1000 negative J/kg range.
