DRY RIDGE, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A Dry Ridge firefighter’s daughter is fighting for her life at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
On Sept. 15, Drake Winters posted on Facebook that his daughter Maddy nearly drowned.

Maddy’s mother sprung into action and performed CPR until first responders arrived, according to a GoFundMe, and miraculously Maddy started to breathe again.
She’s currently in critical care and on a ventilator, per the GoFundMe, and has “a long road to recovery.”
