CINCINNATI, Ohio (WDTN) — Skyline Chili needs your help to break a Guinness World Record.
The Cincinnati chili business is looking to break a record for the most hot dogs posted to Instagram during a one-hour period. From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EST on Oct. 9, Skyline fans are encouraged to post a clear picture of a Skyline Cheese Coney to Instagram.
Photos must be posted as a post with hashtag #SkylineChiliWorldRecord. According to Skyline, accounts need to be set to public, and Instagram stories do not count.
“Celebrating 75 years of Skyline Chili with our fans and aiming to set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title is a fantastic way to mark this milestone,” said Sarah Sicking, vice president of marketing and brand management at Skyline Chili. “We can’t wait to see everyone’s coneys and make history together!”
During the time frame, the first 250 people who properly post will reportedly receive a $15 Skyline gift card. One person who also properly posts will get a $1,500 Skyline gift card.
