Ja’Marr Chase Reveals What He Texted Giants WR Malik Nabers

In Week 6 of NFL season, the Cincinnati Bengals will face the New York Giants on “Sunday Night Football.” Ja’Marr Chase and Malik Nabers, both former LSU Tigers star wideouts, will be on opposite sidelines for the first time as pros.

Chase played for the Tigers in 2018 and 2019, while Nabers played from 2021 to 2023. There’s something special about being an LSU wide receiver in recent years, as those two aren’t the only ones who have made a big impact on their NFL teams. Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings and Brian Thomas Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars are two others.

Ahead of Sunday night’s matchup, there’s some doubt about whether Nabers will play. He suffered a concussion in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys, and according to Giants head coach Brian Daboll , Nabers has still not progressed from Stage 3 of the concussion protocol .

Nabers must log at least a limited practice on Friday to even have a chance of playing on Sunday.

Many fans believe Nabers is taking longer to recover than expected because he went to a Travis Scott concert on Wednesday night . Those who roster Nabers in fantasy football weren’t thrilled about seeing him there and even called him out for it .
