Hamilton County bailiffs are slated to shutter six Frisch’s Big Boys restaurants on Tuesday nearly two weeks after a magistrate issued an eviction order , court officials told The Enquirer.
The latest evicted Frisch’s restaurants are:
- 4765 Montgomery Road in Norwood.
- 9070 Plainfield Road in Blue Ash.
- 9830 Colerain Ave. in Colerain Township.
- 4227 Bridgetown Road in Cheviot.
- 12150 Mason Montgomery in Symmes Township.
- 5202 Delhi Ave. in Delhi Township.
The regional restaurant chain faces still more closings: last week a magistrate gave the company seven days to exit four locations in Anderson Township, Forest Park, Green Township and Harrison.
The looming threat of closures comes as Frisch’s Restaurants admitted Oct. 23 it faces an unspecified number of evictions from several locations due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Court records reveal “more than 20” properties face eviction in Southwest Ohio – or a quarter of Frisch’s Restaurants’ 78 total locations in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Records also show the landlord claims Frisch’s owes more than $4.5 million in rent.
