Fox19 anchor Payton Marshall to leave station after 3 years: ‘This goodbye is a hard one’

A Fox 19 (WXIX-TV) anchor and reporter is leaving the station.

Payton Marshall , a weekend anchor and reporter for Fox19 Now is leaving after three years on air, she shared via social media Wednesday. Marshall said her last day would be Saturday, Dec. 21.

She added that she plans to leave Cincinnati and will share more about her next steps soon.

“It has been such a privilege to be an anchor, a reporter and an active member of the community that raised me. This goodbye is a hard one,” she wrote. “I’m so excited for my upcoming move, but it doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier.”

“To the viewers, thank you for trusting me to share your stories, especially in your most vulnerable moments. From tears at your worst days to joy during your celebrations,” she continued.

After joining Fox19 Now in December 2021, Marshall has served as a reporter and weekend morning anchor on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 to 10 a.m.

Marshall, a Cincinnati native, graduated from Mount Notre Dame High School and cheered for Archbishop Moeller High School. She graduated from Wittenberg University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in theatre and dance.
