CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – The Cincinnati restaurant scene had another tough year in 2024. Although around 60 new eateries opened, including the Davidson, Vintage on Race, Wildweed and Aperture, more than 40 closed their doors for good. That’s not even including total closures from local chains like Taste of Belgium and Frisch’s, which have shuttered dozens of locations combined. By comparison, in 2023, roughly 47 eateries called it quits, with a similar string of closures coming in December.
