Are you wondering whether a snow plow is on its way to your neighborhood? If you’re a Cincinnati resident, you can check it out online.
The city’s Department of Public Services maintains 3,112 lane miles within a 79-square-mile area. The city provides a live snow plow tracker open for public viewing during a winter weather event so residents can check whether their street has been treated.
The snow plow tracker shows:
- Where snow vehicles have already been.
- When a vehicle was on a particular street.
- The distances covered by vehicles since the start of the winter weather event.
The interactive map updates once an hour. At the time of the last update at 1:24 p.m. Sunday, about 2,462 miles of city-maintained roads have been treated by snow vehicles. You can filter the map by street name and neighborhood.
