CINCINNATI (WKRC) – New research from a hiring platform found that around 20% of job listings are “ghost jobs,” or jobs that do not exist.
According to a report from the hiring platform Greenhouse, the company found that at any point in time 18 to 22% of the jobs posted on its site are ghost jobs, or “positions advertised with no intent to hire,” per the report.
Greenhouse found that 73% of job candidates in the United States have encountered one of these ghost job listings, and the problem is worse in some industries than others…
