CINCINNATI (WKRC) — The Cincinnati Planning Commission has approved a contentious rezoning plan for Hyde Park despite significant opposition from local residents and business owners.
The decision came after a lengthy meeting where more than 60 community members voiced their concerns about the proposed project.
“This developer purchased these properties fully aware of the existing zoning restrictions,” said Hyde Park resident Eric Russo. “Now, they ask you to change the rules so they can maximize their profits at the expense of businesses and residents who have long contributed to this community.”…
