Over 100K unapproved pills from Mexico seized at CVG

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Customs and Border Protection officers have seized more than 100,000 pills that are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration at CVG.

The officers confiscated six packages of pill bottles filled with “Artri King” tablets. The shipment originated from Mexico and was destined for California. The pills are marketed for treating arthritis, muscle pain, osteoporosis, and bone cancer.

However, officials have warned that these pills are not regulated and could lead to medical emergencies or even death…
