Fake dentist allegedly broke woman’s tooth with pliers and damaged jaw, charged $250

HOUSTON (WKRC) – A man was arrested for posing as a dentist and damaging a victim’s tooth and jaw with pliers after charging only $250.

47-year-old Cesar Augusto Perez Mejia was arrested after a woman told police that he was fraudulently operating a dentistry business out of his apartment, per police.

According to local outlet KPRC, Mejia put the victim under anesthesia to pull out her tooth with a pair of pliers, but instead broke her tooth and damaged her jaw, resulting in her being hospitalized. The outlet also said that Mejia was only charging $250 for his services…
