Cincinnati man convicted of federal drug and gun charges in Northern Kentucky

COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) – A Cincinnati man was convicted of federal charges of armed cocaine trafficking and illegal firearm possession. It took less than three hours for the jury to convict Anthony Wynn Thursday.

In 2020, officers pulled over Wynn for possible DUI. During the stop, they found two bags of crack cocaine and one bag of marijuana on Wynn. They also found a loaded gun in the glove box and a digital scale in the center console. Another loaded gun was found in the trunk.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Wynn had the guns to protect himself, his drugs and his money from selling drugs. However, he has previous felony convictions that barred him from possessing a gun…
