Cincinnati school district invites students to enroll after sudden high school closure

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) is extending a warm welcome to students and families seeking a new academic home after a local high school announced an abrupt closure due to financial issues.

Dohn Community High School announced on Friday that it is closing due to financial difficulties and said it will shut its doors on Monday. The school was on spring break this week and the announcement has left many families scrambling to make alternative arrangements as the school had previously said it was staying open until June.
