Kiki , the Japanese restaurant that recently shuttered in College Hill, will relocate to Clifton’s Gaslight District later this year. Owner Hideki Harada told The Enquirer he signed a lease for the former Habanero restaurant space on Ludlow Avenue in March and hopes to open by late spring or early summer.
Habanero closed in December after 25 years in business. Kiki announced it would shutter its College Hill location in March.
Hideki and his wife, Yuko Harada, opened Kiki in College Hill in 2019. It was their way of recreating the foods of Japan, where Yuko grew up and where Hadeki studied in college.
