Two local projects part of Ohio’s $835 million investment, will create over 100 jobs

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKRC) – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, alongside Lt. Governor Jim Tressel and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik, announced the approval of six projects poised to create significant economic impact across the state. These initiatives are expected to generate more than $835 million in investments, create 699 new jobs, and retain nearly 300 jobs statewide.

The Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed proposals from JobsOhio and its regional partners. The projects — including two in Butler County — are anticipated to result in over $62 million in new payroll.

One of the approved projects involves LetsGetChecked, Inc., a global healthcare solutions company. The company plans to establish a new location in Fairfield, creating 74 full-time-equivalent positions and generating over $4.5 million in new annual payroll. The project includes acquiring a new building to serve as a Midwest facility for distribution and laboratory practices.
