COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) — Candace Jones of Fort Mitchell made her second trip in two days to a Kentucky Regional Driver’s License office, hoping to replace her missing license.
“I was there for three hours and never got in. So, I had to come here and try to be here. I’ve only been here for about 15 or 20 minutes, but by the sounds of it, it’s going to be a long time,” said Jones. “It’s very frustrating because I have this job I need this ID for, and I can’t get it.”
Jones isn’t alone in her frustration. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reported that one of their online agents received 300 chat requests in a single day this week.
