CINCINNATI (WKRC) — New state documents obtained by Local 12 indicated that the state’s agency in charge of overseeing parolees may not have followed their own procedures when it came to finding the fugitive now accused of stabbing a man to death in his own home.
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections reported that parolee Mordecia Black went AWOL from a Cincinnati halfway house in February. A parole officer attempted to visit Black, and, upon discovering his absence, obtained a warrant for his arrest and declared him a violator at large.
