Popular West Side ice cream shop braces for impact of major road closure

WESTWOOD, Ohio (WKRC) – Putz’s Creamy Whip, a beloved Westwood institution since 1938, is preparing for a challenging summer as major road construction threatens to disrupt its business.

The emergency closure of a portion of West Fork Road, set to last a month and a half, will cut off easy access for customers seeking a sweet treat.
