Rumpke Adjusts Trash Pickup Schedule in Greater Cincinnati Due to Impending Heat Wave

As an oppressive heat wave approaches Greater Cincinnati, trash collection service Rumpke is making adjustments to its schedule to protect its workers from the severe temperatures forecasted. In an effort to prevent service interruption, residents are being instructed to place their trash and recycling out on the curb the night before their scheduled pickup. “Our crews are adjusting start times to help drivers finish collection before the highest temperatures of the day are reached. With this change, it is important that trash and recycling be placed curbside the night before scheduled collection to ensure no service interruption,” a spokesperson conveyed to WLWT.
