As an oppressive heat wave approaches Greater Cincinnati, trash collection service Rumpke is making adjustments to its schedule to protect its workers from the severe temperatures forecasted. In an effort to prevent service interruption, residents are being instructed to place their trash and recycling out on the curb the night before their scheduled pickup. “Our crews are adjusting start times to help drivers finish collection before the highest temperatures of the day are reached.
