NEWPORT, Ky. (WKRC) – A Northern Kentucky police officer allegedly discharged his weapon at a vehicle that was driving toward him, prompting the driver to flee the scene and crash his car.
According to a release from the Newport Criminal Investigations Division, officers were attempting to pull over a vehicle at a Tire Discounters in the Newport Pavilion in connection to a theft investigation at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
