HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – There wasn’t a dry eye in the courtroom when the family of Mary Beth Blankenship, especially her young daughters, gave impact statements at Tristan King’s sentencing.
King was sentenced to 30 months in prison for failing to stop at an accident in June of 2024. The accident claimed the life of Hanover Township mother Mary berth Blankenship. King turned himself in, and pleaded guilty. In court, King appeared remorseful, apologizing to Blankenship’s family. Blankenship’s sister, Nancy Kneisley also expressed her relief after the judge delivered the sentence.
“I just wanna apologize to the family,” King said. “It was truly an accident and I hope they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”…
