CINCINNATI (WKRC) — A significant expansion of mental health services was announced today in Butler County, marking what officials are calling a “transformational day” for mental health support in the region. Butler Behavioral Health is merging with Best Point Education and Behavioral Health to enhance services across Hamilton, Butler, Clermont, and Warren Counties.
Randy Allman, President and CEO of Butler Mental Health, said, “Today is not about an ending but really a powerful beginning.” The expansion will increase the number of services from 30 to over 50, allowing for greater support for children, teens, and young adults. The merger will also deepen the continuum of care across the lifespan and grow the workforce to nearly 700 employees.
“This ribbon tying ceremony formalizes a union of Butler Behavioral Health and Best Point Education and Behavioral Health,” Allman said. “By coming together, we are building a stronger, more accessible, and more impactful behavioral health system.”
