CINCINNATI (WXIX) – The widow of a man stabbed to death during a break-in at their Over-the-Rhine home last month is calling out Cincinnati leaders for announcing violent crime is down a bit after it spiked early this summer.

Violent crime is down 3% over the past 28 days, according to the latest data released at a news conference Wednesday.
