Two people are dead following an officer-involved shooting in Middletown, according to Daniel Hils of Front Line Advisors.
Hils said officers responded Sunday afternoon to a home in the 3000 block of Mohawk Street after they received reports that a woman had been shot inside a home.
When the officers arrived, an unidentified suspect fired a weapon at them, Hils said. Officers attempted to negotiate with the suspect. The suspect continued to threaten officers with his firearm. In response, officers fired their guns as well, striking the suspect…
