CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – Long-simmering conflict between at least some Findlay Market vendors and the corporation that oversees the historic institution came into the open Friday, July 18, as the Cincinnati Planning Commission unanimously approved a zoning change needed so the corporation can build a new $10 million headquarters.
Among the concerns were that parking would be eliminated or curtailed for vendors because the new building will be placed at 1813 Race St., a city-owned property where vendors park. It also could affect the north surface parking lot where patrons park.
