Second Teenager Arrested in Connection with Wyoming Shooting that Left 15-Year-Old Dead

A second teenager has been taken into custody by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in relation to the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy in Wyoming, as per the reports from the local authorities. According to LOCAL12, a 14-year-old has been charged with tampering with evidence in the wake of the shooting that occurred last Wednesday near Burns Avenue and Washington Avenue.

The incident left Jaymir Deshea Hill with a fatal gunshot wound to the shoulder. The WCPO report reveals that Hill was allegedly shot during what was supposed to be a meet-up to purchase a gun, only for it to quickly devolve into a deadly fight. It was also recounted by a 911 caller who claimed to have witnessed three boys fighting before hearing a sudden, loud bang, and returning to find Hill lying on the ground, and the other two boys fled from the scene.

Upon their arrival shortly before 4 p.m., police tried to save Hill’s life, but he was later pronounced dead after being taken to UC Medical Center. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, alongside the Wyoming Police Department, has made the arrest of the second juvenile, with Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey and Wyoming Police Chief Brooke Brady releasing no further details regarding the motive or circumstances leading up to the tragedy, as indicated by The Enquirer…
