UPDATE: As of 8:31 p.m., the National Weather Service has not extended the tornado warning. However, areas south of the initial warnings are still under severe weather alerts, and the service is reporting flooding near areas of the Ohio River. A tornado warning is in effect until 8:30 p.m. in Kenton County and the southern parts of Campbell County and central Pendelton County Sunday night, according to the National Weather Service, following radar readings.
“TAKE COVER NOW!” the service warns. “Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.”…
