CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – One of David Falk’s most vivid memories as a young man in the late 1980s and early ‘90s was going down East Sixth Street, peering into the windows of the Maisonette. At the time, it was North America’s highest-rated restaurant, holding Mobil Travel Guide’s five-star rating for 41 consecutive years.
Eating at the Maisonette, which the Comisar family opened in 1949 and moved to 114 E. Sixth St. in 1966, was a traditional fine dining experience in every sense.
