A protest in support of Ayman Soliman, a former Cincinnati Children’s Hospital chaplain detained by ICE, erupted into chaos on the Roebling Bridge.
Video captured by a demonstrator showed police officers struggling to arrest a man, hitting him repeatedly as he was brought to the ground. The incident unfolded on both sides of the bridge.
Cincinnati police reported several arrests on the Kentucky side and are working to gather more details from Covington police about the events there.
