FBI arrests Ohio man for death threats to U.S. Congressman

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Dayton, Ohio, man was arrested by federal agents after threatening to kill a U.S. Congressman.

The U.S. Court Southern District of Ohio reports 60-year-old Jeffrey Dorsey, formerly of Columbus, was arrested Tuesday evening and appeared in court Wednesday afternoon.

His case stems from a voicemail he left on a congressman’s main office line. Court documents say the voicemail included threats to kill the representative if he voted to make cuts to Medicaid.

Records show Dorsey said, in part, “If you vote to take my [expletive] Medicaid away, I’m gonna cut your [expletive] head off…But I tell you this, clearly to your brain, if you [expletive] with my Medicaid, you’re a dead [expletive].”…
