BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is asking local restaurants to participate in his annual campaign to raise money to support food insecurity.
Every year since 2023, the Joe Burrow Foundation has invited restaurants from Athens, Cincinnati, and Baton Rouge to support the foundation’s mission.
The “Dine for Nine” campaign raises money and awareness to help families overcome food insecurity and promote mental health. Every participating restaurant would donate 9% of its proceeds from Sept. 9 to the foundation…
