Shelter-in-place ends with ‘wanted subject’ in custody

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — At least one person is in custody after law enforcement issued a shelter-in-place order.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office issued a shelter-in-place advisory for the area surrounding State Route 725 and Paragon Road Monday morning.

According to the sheriff’s office, the advisory was issued in response to the presence of a wanted subject. Residents were asked to lock their door and windows, as well as stay inside of their home or business.

As of 10:58 a.m., this advisory is no longer in effect.
